The Sounded.com TrueVoice™ program is service for creating and making available Voice Replicas for use in narrating Audiobooks.
A Voice Replica is a digital replica of your voice, which includes voice characteristics, developed using technology and software. It allows recordings to be generated using your own voice without the need for continuous recording sessions. Voice Replicas through the Sounded.com TrueVoice™ program are only used for audiobook recordings.
Voice Replicas are produced through a process known as voice synthesis. Our TrueVoice™ program is available only to recognised voice artists and actors, specific to audiobook recordings, who provided to us a set of recordings. Our technology then analyses the voice characteristics to generate a voice model which is then used to create the Voice Replica and any new voice recordings.
Yes, the Voice Replica produced by the TrueVoice™ program is associated with you only. Where you withdraw consent for us, it is no longer used by us.
The time required to create an accurate voice replica depends on a number of complexities within your voice characteristics and the recordings supplied to us. Generally, we can create an accurate replica within a couple of days to a week.

The TrueVoice™ program is tailored specific to audiobooks. We work together with voice artists and actors on a trusted basis, to create solutions in the interests of authors and voice artists, building long standing relationships. We’re not in business to create voice clones which can be misused, or creating tools to allow anybody to upload voice data for which they have no consent to use. Our program is exclusive. It’s not a drag and drop of audio files of anyone’s voice. For example, until Stephen Fry agrees to sign up to our program, regrettably for him and us, you won’t find a Voice Replica for him on TrueVoice™.
